Sources say an initial feasibility report of launching nuclear power projects in Anhui is being deliberated by experts in Hefei these days, and the report has been basically approved. According to the report, Anhui is to build 4 sets of million-kilowatt nuclear generators. Once the nuclear power station is established, it will not only ease the power supply tension in south Anhui, but also facilitate the power transmission from Anhui to other parts of east China.
