A symposium was held in Hefei on March 25th by Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Anhui Committee on the Anti-Secession Law. Attendees unanimously agreed that the Anti-Secession Law is an important act to oppose Taiwai Independence and foreign interference in the Taiwan issue and to promote peaceful national reunification.

　　The law shows the "common will and strong resolve" of the entire Chinese people to safeguard the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity and never to allow "Taiwan independence" ; and it also sets a legal guarantee to promote cross straits relations and peaceful national reunification. Vice president of CPPCC Anhui Wang Helin and general secretary Bai Taiping attended the symposium.(ye wei)
