The first red alert of high temperature this summer was released by Anhui Observatory yesterday afternoon. It is reported that the temperature today reaches as high as over 40 degrees Celsius in northern part of North Huaihe River and 37 degrees in mid-south of North Huaihe River as well as areas between the rivers of Yangtze and Huaihe.
